Camera Connection Guide

Before connecting, ensure you have:

  • FujiStyle App latest version
  • Fujifilm Camera (supported model)
  • Data Cable
    • USB-C iPhone: USB-C to USB-C
    • Lightning iPhone: Apple Lightning to USB Adapter

⚠️ This is the most critical step!

  1. Power on your camera
  2. Press MENU/OK to enter menu
  3. Navigate: Setup Menu → Connection Setting → Connection Mode
  4. Select one of:
    • USB TETHER SHOOTING FIXED (Recommended)
    • USB RAW CONV./BACKUP RESTORE

Troubleshooting

  • Check camera connection mode setting
  • Ensure using data cable, not charge-only
  • If iOS prompt didn't appear, restart both devices
  • Check USB ports are clean

Must use official Apple adapters. This is the most common cause of failure. Third-party adapters have inconsistent compatibility. Recommend Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.

  • Ensure mode dial is on custom slot (C1, C2, etc.)
  • Confirm shooting mode is P/A/S/M. AUTO or SP modes will override
  • Tip: Use USB TETHER SHOOTING FIXED mode to force preview effect

Close other apps that may communicate with camera: FUJIFILM XApp, Cam Remote, Lightroom Mobile, iOS Photos app.

This is usually a physical connection issue. Try a different high-quality data cable and ensure adapters are firmly inserted.
