Troubleshooting
- Check camera connection mode setting
- Ensure using data cable, not charge-only
- If iOS prompt didn't appear, restart both devices
- Check USB ports are clean
Must use official Apple adapters. This is the most common cause of failure. Third-party adapters have inconsistent compatibility. Recommend Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.
- Ensure mode dial is on custom slot (C1, C2, etc.)
- Confirm shooting mode is P/A/S/M. AUTO or SP modes will override
- Tip: Use USB TETHER SHOOTING FIXED mode to force preview effect
Close other apps that may communicate with camera: FUJIFILM XApp, Cam Remote, Lightroom Mobile, iOS Photos app.
This is usually a physical connection issue. Try a different high-quality data cable and ensure adapters are firmly inserted.
